Eating Your Way Through Spring

Winter is gone and spring is here now. Here in Washington D.C., we have been enjoying the warm breeze and beautifully bloomed cherry blossoms since last weekend. When you can smell flowers and feel the sunlight, you can’t just stay inside and eat what you eat every day. For those who don’t know what to do or where to go, just read this post and pick one!

Spring is a perfect season to eat chocolate, meaning that the DC Chocolate Festival is here with perfect timing. It is the first artisanal chocolate festival in DC. If you are a chocolate lover, this is a must-go event. The ticket is a little pricey, but the festival features artisan quality chocolates. (How classy!) Moreover, in addition to tasting the sweetness, you can learn how to make chocolates as well.

Taste of Dupont Circle:

If you are not a big fan of chocolate, it’s totally fine. Historic Dupont Circle is holding an event that will feature 10+ restaurants with their appetizers, entrees, drinks, and desserts. This ninth annual festival in Dupont is a good opportunity for us to be classy while spending only $20. Check out their website for more information.
