D.C.’s Best Food Trucks: Pepe

Thanks to the lines of food trucks in D.C., I always have to wait for my lunch, but if you go to Pepe by Jose Andres, the classy food you’ll get is well worth the wait! (Who doesn’t like Jose Andres’ food? He was even a GW commencement speaker in 2014.) Pepe is a food truck that offers Spanish style sandwiches. Creates delicious sandwiches in D.C. from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm on weekdays, you won’t want to miss this food truck.

Pepe Food Truck by Jose Andres

Pepe offers eight different sandwiches and a chicken noodle soup. Its bestseller, Butifarra ‘Burger’ – a Spanish pork burger with alioli and brava sauce, and Jose’s recommended Pepito de Iberico – seared Iberico pork and Serrano ham with other delicious ingredients, are perfect ones to try out.

Not all the sandwiches are available every day, but Pepe has a Twitter account as well as a Facebook page where you can look up the truck’s location and today’s special menu.

Here’s the most recent menu:

Try it out and let us know how you like it!

Until next time,
